Band boundaries are the published cumulative odds: u below 0.522 is DUD, below 0.772 SHORT, below 0.912 PAR, and so on. Demo seeds are generated in your browser; on mainnet the server seed is committed per epoch of ~1,000 packs and revealed when it closes.
